"The White Project"
to be a bubble,
both our body and spirit
must have a sense of wholeness.
when we are whole,
this is when we transcend.
we transcend to the sky,
the sky of hopes, dreams and imagination,
Like a bubble.
Transcendence.
my semester break consisted of a perpetual painting session.
one day, something unusual happened:
I painted a manifold of bubbles.
I then queried myself on why I had the thought of doing so.
as I continuously painted numerous bubbles, I felt new and free.
What was the reason you may ask.
as Jeff Koons, a visual artist I am inspired by, once said
his saying resonated with me since and I applied my situation to it.
bubbles make me feel transcended. I felt like I was a bubble flying
to the sky.
through my research journey,
I began to understand the beauty of bubbles.
its visual and meaning fascinated me
due to its fragility and transparency.
symbollically, it holds the strongest
meaning of hopes and dreams.
from there, I learnt that we all should be like a
a bubble and fly high towards the sky.
Bubbles.
